Georgian Ambassador to Ukraine summoned to Foreign Ministry today

Georgian Ambassador to Ukraine Teimuraz Sharashenidze, who has been recalled from Kyiv to Tbilisi for consultations, is summoned to the Foreign Ministry today, May 25.

As the Foreign Minister of Georgia Davit Zalkaliani said, the strategic relations with Ukraine were not subject to revision, however, this situation had created serious problems in bilateral relations.

Georgia had summoned Sharashenidze to the Foreign Ministry for consultations following the appointment of former President Mikheil Saakashvili to the post of Head of the Executive Committee of the Ukrainian National Reform Council.
