A biodegradable bag factory launched in Gori. State Representative of Shida Kartli Giorgi Khojevanishvili visited the enterprise and got acquainted with the production process.

The company “Eco Georgia” is a participant of the state program – “Produce in Georgia”. It received a land plot and a building of 3355 sq.m. in Gori for 1 GEL.

“Eco Georgia” is the only enterprise in Georgia where not only biodegradable bags are produced, but also the raw materials necessary for producing bags.

The investment cost of the enterprise is about 3 mln GEL. Currently, 25 people are employed on the site, but more than 100 jobs are planned to be created in the future.
