The Prime Minister of Georgia will arrive in Parliament today. Giorgi Gakharia will answer opposition lawmakers’ questions over his Cabinet’s handling of the coronavirus crisis.
The members of the Parliament are going to ask the Head of the Government about the recent crisis created because of COVID-19 in the country, the plan for providing a financial assistance to the citizens who lost their income during the pandemic as well as the plan for economic revival of the country, the devaluation of the national currency, and etc.
A 7-member group or a faction in the parliament has the right to address a member of the government with a question and then the addressee is required to answer the question at a plenary sitting.
The Prime Minister delivered a speech in the Parliament and answered the MP’s questions on May 27.
