Police detained O.G. (DoB 1987) in the village of Gugutiantkari, Gori municipality for illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms and causing severe health injury on purpose. Committed crime envisages from 4 to 7 years of imprisonment.

Investigation established that on the basis of conflict, detainee and T.I. (DoB 1990) physically assaulted each other. In the course of the physical confrintaton, O.G. made several shots in the air with currently unidentified firearm and inflicted injury to T.I. with a cold steel in belly area afterwards. The wounded person has been transferred to the hospital.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase, keeping and carrying of firearms and causing severe health injury on purpose, article 236, III and IV parts and article 117, I part envisaged by the Criminal Code of Georgia.
