Our relations with the European Union are not threatened by this transport issue. We have measured each of our steps. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia, while commenting the postponement of the regular flights.
“Flights from Georgia to the EU or from the EU to our country are not prohibited today. Berlin, Vienna and Amsterdam flights are being carried out. We will do our best in order to open borders as soon as possible. Each of our steps, instead of the speculation that is broadcast on some TV channels, is motivated only by the health of our citizens.
Don’t forget that there are serious explosions in many parts of the region. We have coordination, we have negotiations with each of our partners, and our relations with the European Union have nothing to do with this transport issue. We have measured each of our steps”, - concluded Giorgi Gakharia.
