The so-called Ministry of Foreign Affairs of occupied Tskhinvali region issued a statement expressing concern over the increased presence of Georgian law enforcement agencies on the “perimeter of the border”.

“Continuing provocative steps to destabilize the situation, accompanied by the increased presence of Georgian security forces along the entire perimeter of the South Ossetian state border with Georgia. The build-up of weapons stocks, the massive aggressive rhetoric of the Georgian leadership against Tskhinvali, constant provocations on border territories, and the setting up of illegal police posts indicate that Tbilisi continues to dream of revenge and the seizure of foreign lands”, - the de facto agency said.

The so-called Ministry called on the international community to condemn “Georgia’s dangerous course in creating militarized zones”.
