Russian military helicopters spotted along Armenian-Turkish border

Russian military helicopters were spotted flying close to the border between Armenia and Turkey right after Turkish foreign minister strongly condemned a deadly Armenian attack on Azerbaijani troops.

Reportedly, Russia has flown air force equipment from the 102nd Russian military base in Gyumri.

Azerbaijani media said the patrolling is linked to the statement of the Turkish government which fully backs Azerbaijan. The Southern Military District of Russia denies information and says the aviation is participating only in the planned military exercises.
