Based on the decision made by the Inter-Agency Coordination Council of the Georgian government, quarantine restrictions have been imposed in Karajala village, Gardabani municipality due to the epidemiologic risk.
At the entrance of the village, police checkpoints have been arranged to ensure the enforcement of the imposed quarantine restrictions. Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will operate in round-the-clock regime on the ground.
Secondary bypass roads are also controlled by the law enforcers by the mobile groups, ensuring the monitoring activities of the sites. Besides the live force, quarantine perimeter is also monitored by the Emergency Situations Management Service drones, operated by certain MIA units.
Police officers conduct intensive patrolling activities to ensure safe environment and public order in the village. Employees of the MIA will provide locals with comprehensive information regarding quarantine restrictions and provide assistance in case if needed.
All persons on the territory of Georgia must follow requirements of the Georgian legislation on public health.
