Chavchavadze Avenue will be closed to private vehicles starting from today, July 30, for 3 nights, between 12-4 am. Such a statement made the Mayor of Tbilisi.
“The closure comes to allow public transport to move in a test regime on the Avenue as Tbilisi City Hall is developing a new transport policy, giving priority to public transport. The road of Chavchavadze Avenue is divided in a different way, with a bus line in the middle of the road. Private vehicles will be able to use only 2 lines”, - said Kakha Kaladze
