The officers of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as a result of operative and investigative activities detained 3 citizens of the Republic of India. They are accused of illegal crossing of the state border of Georgia in group. The crime committed envisages from 4 to 5 years of imprisonment.

The accused individuals illegally crossed in group the State Border of Georgia from the Republic of Armenia.

The investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal crossing of the state border in group (sub-clause “a” of the part 2 of the Article 344 of the Criminal Code of Georgia).
