EU member states are paying close attention to find evidence about the organizers of the cyber-attack, said today the EU Ambassador to Georgia.

“This is not the first time in recent months that we have seen cyber-attacks on the territory of Georgia. Everyone will observe the current situation. Among other things, the EU and its member states are paying close attention to finding evidence about the organizers and purpose of the attack.

This cyber-attack clearly reminds us of these very important aspects. The risk of future similar attacks shortly before the election should not be neglected, which is why it is very important to be vigilant. Therefore, the EU and many of Georgia’s other partners will work hard on aspects of cyber security”, - said Carl Hartzell.
