The officers of the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained the fifth person within the frames of the ongoing investigation on the fact of the physical confrontation that took place in one of the bars located in Tbilisi. As a result of immediate investigative activities and identification procedure, L.Ts. (DoB 1983) was detained in connection with the mentioned criminal case. Committed crime envisages from 2 to 4 years of imprisonment.

Investigation established that detainee along with four other co-workers, who have already been detained by the Patrol Police Department, verbally and physically abused the guests of the bar. As a result of the incident, two individuals - I.F. and I.G. (DoB: 1986) received health damage and were provided with relevant medical aid.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of intentional damage to health of two or more persons committed in group (sub-clause “c” and “d”, part 2 of the Article 120 of the Criminal Code of Georgia). Herewith, operative-investigative actions are being held in order to identify new circumstances and detain other persons possibly related to the mentioned criminal case.
