Vice Prime Minister and Justice Minister of Georgia, Tea Tsulukiani, has resigned after presenting the results of activities in previous years.
“We have carried out fundamental reforms in all areas. I wanted to leave a healthy legacy in the Ministry of Justice on which it is possible to build a better one. Before running the election campaign, my team and I are obliged by law to resign and present a summary report on our activities in the justice ministry. I would like to thank Bidzina Ivanishvili. He supported me often with advice, sometimes even harsh criticism”, - said Tsulukiani.
In accordance with the election legislation, she must leave the post to participate in the forthcoming election campaign. Tea Tsulukiani is the fourth number on the electoral list of Georgian Dream. She will run in the election campaign from October 1, and his deputy Gocha Lortkipanidze is expected to replace her.
