Police solved the case of premeditated murder in Sagarejo - one person detained

The officers of Kakheti Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs solved the case of premeditated murder in Sagarejo municipality, as a result of immediate activities. Law enforcers detained Kh.Kh. (DoB 1982) for premeditated murder.

Committed crime envisages from 7 to 15 years of imprisonment.

Investigation established that on October 7 2020, in one of the farms located in Sagarejo municipality, detainee murdered his co-villager I.Kh. (DoB 1984) with a shotgun on the basis of vengeance. As a result of immediate operative-investigative activities police managed to detain Kh.Kh. several hours after the crime took place.

The weapon of crime - a shotgun was seized as evidence by the law enforcers.

Detainee has already pleaded guilty.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of premeditated murder, article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
