“The foreign trade statistics of September have been published and it is very good that our exports increased by 8.6% in previous month. At the same time, imports have decreased and this means that the foreign trade balance has improved. A special contribution to the growth of exports is made by agricultural and textile products.
According to Geostat, exports increased in September to GEL 332 million. At the same time, the trade deficit improved by USD 98.5 million. As for the period of January-September 2020, the trade deficit decreased by USD 752.6 million to USD 3,314.1 million”, - said Natia Turnava.
