99 new cases of coronavirus confirmed in Imereti

In the last 24 hours, 939 samples were taken in Imereti, of which 99 received positive responses. About 60 cases are related to Kutaisi. Newly infected are mostly contacts of existing cases.

At this stage, about 200 patients are being treated in COVID-hotels and 501 in clinics. According to the Governor of Imereti Zviad Shalamberidze, at this stage there are 8 COVID-clinics in the region.
