Police seized up to 4 kg of drugs in Kvemo Kartli- one person detained

The officers f Kvemo Kartli Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as a result of operative-search and investigative activities detained N.K. (DoB 1987) for illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities.

Committed crime envisages from 8 to 20 or lifetime imprisonment.

Law enforcers detained N.K. while driving on Gardabani-Rustavi highway. As a result of searching detainee’s luggage, police seized up to 4 kg of drugs, containing approximately 1 kg of “Heroin”.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of drugs in especially large quantities, article 260, VI part of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
