Khatia Dekanoidze, MP candidate from the United National Movement, was stopped and fined by the patrol police as she was reportedly driving in her car in the city center.

The police officer in charge said the fine amounted to GEL 2,000 for breaching Article 42 (10) of the Administrative Offences Code (the violation of rules of isolation and/or quarantine).

According to Dekanoidze, she will not accept the fine.
