The Government offered 2-3 million dollars to the MPs in exchange for entering the Parliament. Such a statement made Mikheil Saakashvili,

“I want to thank every member of the opposition, who did not enter the illegal Parliament. Every person, declared as MP by them, was offered USD 2 - 3 million by [Bidzina] Ivanishvili’s servants. I know this for sure.

Most of these people are not millionaires, but they decided to stand by the Georgian people. In my opinion, this is civic heroism. It turned out that [Bidzina] Ivanishvili is not all-mighty, he buys many things, but there are some things that cannot be bought, there are people who cannot be bought and I want to thank each of these people”, - said the Former President of Georgia.
