The Parliament of Georgia will discuss today the statements of opposition members requesting termination of their mandates.
The Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules will consider the statements of 49 opposition members of parliament.
The final decision will be made by the legislature at the first sitting of the spring session, where the main issue on the agenda will be the termination of the mandates of the opposition.
54 out of 60 opposition members in the parliament wrote a statement on the termination of their parliamentary mandates. Five of them - Irma Inashvili, Giorgi Lomia, Gocha Tedoradze, Shalva Natelashvili, Levan Khabeishvili - have already had their mandates terminated.
