“Observing a face mask rule could avoid a 3rd wave of coronavirus. COVID-19 positivity rate is 5 times less than it was in November-December, and citizens should maintain this progress.

People should not be under the illusion that pandemic is over, but be careful and follow the recommendations. We will have to wear facemasks for another year or a bit longer. Personal care, handwashing, social distance, and so on will stay in effect until 70% of the population gets the vaccine or very effective medicine is approved”, - said Amiran Gamkrelidze.
