Nika Melia, the Chairman of the United National Movement, is not going to pay the bail.

“I will not pay the bail and you will not be able to arrest me! I have great respect for state institutions, however, when the Prosecutor’s office is owned by Shotadze-Partskhaladze, when the court is owned by Murusidze-Chinchaladze and the Parliament represents Kobakhidze-Gavrilov, and when all these figures and institutions are owned by Bidzina Ivanishvili, forgive me, but I have no moral right to take part in this falsity, in this farce.

I am morally honest in this struggle and before generations to come. We will win. I will neither pay the bail nor be arrested”, - said Nika Melia.

The UNM Chairman also called on the Parliament to terminate his MP mandate.
