Persons accused of assaulting of journalist Vakho Sanaia and his family member, to be officially charged today. Police detained three persons - V.G. (DoB 1993) G.S. (DoB 1988) and S.S. (DoB 1988) in Tbilisi for violence committed in group against two or more people.

Being under the alcohol influence, detainees physically assaulted the journalist and his spouse on the basis of conflict.

Investigation is in progress on the fact of violence committed in group against two or more people, article 126-1 part “B” and “C” of the Criminal Code of Georgia. Committed crime envisages up to 2 years of imprisonment.
