According to the First Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia, the first doses of AstraZeneca will arrive in Georgia in two or three weeks.

“Nothing prevents us from bringing AstraZeneka into the country. All negotiations are already held and the first doses of AstraZeneca should be delivered in two to three weeks. This week, we are completing a money transfer to UNICEF to deliver the first doses. According to the plan, first of all, the medical staff will be vaccinated with the received doses”, - added Tamar Gabunia.
