The unconditional release of persons illegally detained is a priority among the issues under consideration. Such a statement Irakli Antadze, Deputy Director of the Information-Analytical Department of the State Security Service, made before the 98th meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism in Ergneti.

“Special attention will also be paid to the illegal, so-called borderization and all significant incidents in the occupied territory and along the occupation line. We are going to raise the issue of unconditional release of all Georgian citizens who are in illegal detention.

This was raised at various high-level international forums, we have the full support of our partners. Therefore, this issue will be a priority at today’s meeting. The issues raised at the meeting also include illegal exercises in the occupied territories”, - said Irakli Antadze.
