President Charles Michel sent out the sixth issue of his newsletter, in which he informs citizens about the activities of the European Council. This time the President highlights the key role played by Europe in the development of anti-COVID-19 vaccines, and addresses misperceptions about the roll-out of vaccinations.

“Europe will be actively promoting its values through specific and strong actions, especially in regions where we have strategic links, such as the Eastern Partnership countries, including Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine where I was last week. Or like Latin America or Africa, where I visited Rwanda and Kenya in recent days and where COVAX has delivered or will shortly deliver the first shipments of doses”, - said Charles Michel.
