We welcome the arrival of Mr. Danielson, Special Envoy of President Michel, and his participation in the EU-mediated political dialogue. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.
“On March 15-17, we will travel to Brussels, where we plan high-level meetings in the European Commission, as well as in the European Council and NATO. On March 16, the 6th session of the EU-Georgia Association Council will be held, where we will present our country’s significant progress in the implementation of reforms in a number of areas. I want also to thank the President of the European Council, Charles Michel, and say that we greatly appreciate his support for our country.
As for the visit of Mr. Danielson, Special Envoy of President Michel, we welcome his arrival and participation in the EU-mediated political dialogue. We are sure that his participation will contribute to the constructive management of the processes.
We are ready to continue the constructive dialogue regime and we fully share the recommendations and advice of the Council of Europe that the Government and the opposition should find common ground and reach an agreement as soon as possible so that the parliament can start working and return to normal political life. We must all be guided by the interests of the Georgian people and the state”, - said Irakli Gharibashvili.
