The statement made by the MEPs should be taken seriously in Georgia, said today the EU Ambassador, Carl Hartzell,

“I cannot speak on behalf of the European Parliament or its specific members. I will just say that, of course, very clear messages are coming and it should be taken into account that the signatories to this statement are leading MEPs, who have a different role in the Georgia-EU relations.

So the messages from MEPs need to be taken seriously”, - added Carl Hartzell.
