According to the new poll by the International Republican Institute, the majority of respondents, 89%, are of favorable opinion of Catholicos-Patriarch.

Former Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia is in second place with 65%. He is followed by Kakha Kaladze with 54%.

52% of respodents express favorable opinion towards Davit Bakradze, 42% - Nika Melia, 40% - Bidzina Ivanishvili, 39% - the leader of "Strategy Builder" Giorgi Vashadze, 36% - Davit Usupashvili, 33-33% - Archil Talakvadze and Irakli Kobakhidze respectively, 31% - Salome Zourabichvili, 29% - Gigi Ugulava, 27% - Shalva Natelashvili, 26% - Mamuka Khazaradze, 26% - Aleko Elisashvili , 24% - Levan Khabeishvili, 21% - Zurab Girchi Japaridze, 21% - Irma Inashvili, 20% - Nino Burjanadze, 17% - Badri Japaridze.

This survey was conducted on behalf of IRI’s Center for Insights in Survey Research by Dr. Rasa Alisauskiene of the public and market research company Baltic Surveys/The Gallup Organization between February 2 and February 26, 2021. The fieldwork was conducted by the Institute of Polling and Marketing.

Data was collected using a multistage probability sampling method through in-person, in-home interviews. The sample consists of 1,500 Georgians aged 18+ and eligible to vote. The data was weighted for age, gender, region and settlement size. The margin of error is plus or minus 2.5%, and the response rate was 75%.
