Nika Melia’s court trial scheduled for today. It will start at 11 a.m. in the Tbilisi City Court.

Judge Nino Chakhnashvili will preside over the trial.

The lawyers of the Chairman of the United National Movement plan to submit a motion, but, for now, they keep details under wraps.

Melia has been accused of committing grave crimes against public security in connection with June 20-21 June events. The pre-trial detention was ordered for him on February 17.
