The officers of the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained G.M., (DoB 1990) as a result of operative and investigative activities. He was arrested in Tbilisi for offering resistance to the police.

The committed crime envisages from 2 to 5 years of imprisonment.

The investigation established that on April 14 of the current year, during a rally in front of “Georgian Dream” political party office, GM offered resistance to the police officers and physically assaulted them while fulfilling their official duties.

The investigation is in progress on the fact of resisting a police officer, crime envisaged under Article 353, Part I, of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
