As it known, the Georgian Dream and the opposition have failed to reach an agreement on the principles of the Draft Law on Amnesty in connection to the 20 June developments. As a result, they submitted two different draft laws to the legislature.
The draft law by the ruling team was registered yesterday. Today, April 28, the opposition politician Shalva Shavgulidze has registered an alternative amnesty bill.
The document has already been received by the Organizational Department of the legislature.
Accordingly, the Parliament will have to consider two independent amnesty bills.
