The damage, caused by the hailstorm, inflicted to Lagodekhi, Gurjaani, Sagarejo and Sighnaghi Municipalities of the eastern Kakheti region, is being calculated.

The hailstorm, which continued for 10-15 minutes, destroyed vineyards, crops, killed poultry and damaged houses, cars and household items.

The special commission will study the situation in all families, which became the victims of natural disaster.

The Government promises to compensate the locals for the infrastructural damage caused by the disaster.
