The Prime Minister of Georgia will be hosted by Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan at the first meeting of the Official Visit to be held at Zagulba Palace today.

Meeting with Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan with a visiting Georgian colleague is scheduled during the Official Visit.

Irakli Garibashvili will also hold a meeting with Sahiba Gafarova, Chairperson of Milli Majlis - legislative authority of Azerbaijan.

Official Delegation includes David Zalkaliani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.

Georgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Zurab Pataradze, said today that many significant issues concerning politics, trade, and economic relations would be on the agenda.

“As for the border delimitation issue, the last meeting was held in Baku two years ago, the next one was planned in Tbilisi, but pandemic impeded the process. I think it will resume shortly. I am sure this issue will be solved as befits two friendly, strategic partner countries”, - added the Ambassador.
