Žygimantas Pavilionis, the Chairman of the Lithuanian Foreign Affairs Committee, echoed the release of United National Movement Chairman Nika Melia from prison.

“Well, after all, Sakartvelo (Georgian) opposition leader Nika Melia is free with thanks to both EU and US negotiators and me personally. Although I received criticism from our President, freedom was defended, with whom I congratulate everyone!”, - writes Žygimantas Pavilionis.
