The de facto president of occupied Abkhazia, Aslan Bzhania, met with the Patriarch of Antioch in Damascus.

According to the Patriarchate of Antioch, Bzhania and his accompanying delegation also visited the Sage Cathedral and “lit a candle about the intention of peace and prosperity in both countries”.

The so-called President of occupied Abkhazia also met with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Damascus.
