Two citizens of Georgia who were wanted by Interpol have been extradited from France, reads the statement of the Georgian Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the agency, V.G. was declared wanted by Interpol Red Notice Application for murder, while T.J. - for illegal purchase, transportation and possession of large quantities of drugs.
“In January 1994, members of the criminal group involving V.G. kidnapped V.M. who was released after receiving ransom from the victim’s parents. After the victim’s parents said that they knew the persons who abducted their son, V.G. and his accomplices secretly entered V.M’s parents’ house and killed V.M and his parents with a firearm.
After the murder, members of the criminal group stole expensive things from the house and hid.
Another extradited individual, T.J. was found guilty for the purchase, storage, transportation and sale of Subutex in especially large quantities.
V.G. and T.J. were extradited from France to Georgia on Wednesday, May 19”, - reads the statement.
