Trial of Nika Melia to be held today

The trial of the Chairman of United National Movement to be held today in the Tbilisi City Court to examine the video evidence obtained by the prosecution.

It is yet unknown what precisely this footage depicts.

Nika Melia will not attend the trial. The Chairperson of the UNM has been charged in the June 20 case with organizing and directing group violence.
