If Mikheil Saakashvili interferes in the self-government elections, it will again become a topic of discussion with Ukrainian partners. Such a statement made today the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
“The ambassador to Ukraine who had been summoned due to Saakashvili, has already returned to the work process. The ambassador returned to Kiev and began to exercise his powers. Now he is with the delegation and he attended the meetings.
Our Ukrainian partners are well aware of our position on this issue. It is very important for us, when we are strategic partners, to respect each other’s statehood and laws. When there is interference in the activities of another country, including violation of election law, it was certainly unacceptable. We told this to our strategic partner and friend. This is a step that is common in diplomatic practice”, - said David Zalkaliani.
