Tamar Kordzaia leaves Republican Party

Tamar Kordzaia has left the Republican Party. She wrote about this decision on her Facebook page. Kordzaia added that she will continue to work in the Parliament as an independent MP.

“Yesterday, on June 3, 2021, my 6-year cooperation with the Republican Party ended. I thank everyone for the variety of experiences I have gained over the years.

I think that the future cooperation with the partner opposition parties should have been be continued by 2 members of the Republican Party, working as non-partisan MPs, by voicing bold republican ideas from the tribune of the legislature”, - writes Tamar Kordzaia.
