The first train “Yerevan-Tbilisi-Batumi” will depart on June 15. Such a statement made today the Minister of Economy of Georgia.
“This train will run every day. The renewed direction will facilitate the entry of tourists from the neighboring country and the development of tourism.
Tbilisi-Yerevan-Tbilisi flight was temporarily suspended because of the COVID-19, however, the Georgian Railway resumed it as soon as the land border is opened.
Besides, negotiations are underway with the Azerbaijani Railways. Tbilisi-Baku-Tbilisi’s direction will be renewed as soon as the neighboring country’s land border is opened”, - added Natia Turnava.
