"Citizens" initiative to be discussed at the sitting of Procedural Committee

"Citizens" initiative to be presented to the sitting of the Procedural Committee. Representatives of the party - Aleko Elisashvili and Levan Ioseliani - have drafted amendments to the Rules of Procedure, according to which, 2 MPs will be able to form a parliamentary political group.

Currently, the so-called political group can be formed by at least 4 deputies elected from one political party. A political group enjoys exactly the same rights and privileges as a parliamentary faction.

Based on the amendments initiated by the Georgian Dream faction, only the European Socialists could form a political group in the legislature.
