Work is underway to establish the so-called “vaccination spaces” in Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi and Rustavi from July. Such a statement made today the Head of the National Center for Disease Control.

“In 4 big cities of the country - Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi and Rustavi, we have to establish large spaces. At least 3 or 4 in Tbilisi, one in each of the other cities. We are not talking about tents, we are talking about larger spaces.

For example in Tbilisi we are actively working with Expo Georgia to use their pavilions, we are also working with the Hualing Center, several sports facilities with large halls and malls to open such centers.

Intensive vaccination should be available to everyone from July, it will be by online booking, as well as through actual queues”, - explained Amiran Gamkrelidze.
