The number of MPs required for the formation of a parliamentary political group will be reduced from 4 to 2.

The relevant initiative of the Citizens party leaders - Aleko Elisashvili and Levan Ioseliani - is being discussed in the legislature in an accelerated manner.

As a result of the change, political groups will be formed by Elisashvili and Ioseliani and 3 members of the Girchi Party.

Currently, the so-called political group can be formed by at least 4 deputies elected from 1 political party.
