Prime Minister of Georgia welcomed the UN General Assembly resolution on Abkhazia and Tskhinvali region and said that the General Assembly once again condemned the forceful demographic changes in the Russian-occupied regions of Georgia.
“57 countries from different regions of the world joined the list of its co-authors together with Georgia this year. By adopting the resolution, the General Assembly once again condemned the forceful demographic changes in the Russian-occupied regions of Georgia and reaffirmed the right of IDPs to return safely and in a dignified way to their homes, regardless of ethnicity. We thank all the states that supported the resolution and became a co-author of the resolution”, - writes Irakli Garibashvili.
