Public Defender will arrive in the Parliament today, June 23. The MPs will hear Nino Lomjaria’s report on the situation of human rights and freedoms in Georgia in 2020 at the plenary session.
The 486-page report reviews the challenges and progress in Georgia in terms of the protection of human rights, as well as the state of implementation of the recommendations and proposals issued by the Ombudsman.
Opposition MPs positively assess the work of the Public Defender’s Office, but also have questions and advices.
