The construction of small orphanages is planned in Ninotsminda. Such a statement made today the Head of the public relations department of the Patriarchate, Archpriest Andria Jagmaidze after a meeting with the Minister of Health, Ekaterine Tikaradze.

“The past period has been assessed since Bishop Iakob was appointed Head of the boarding school. Both sides expressed satisfaction with the way the process is going.

The construction of small orphanages is planned in Ninotsminda, the representatives of the participating organizations will take part in it, so this cooperation will continue in order to ensure that the orphanages in Ninotsminda are of the same standard as the international requirements”, - said Andria Jagmaidze.

“We discussed the situation at Ninotsminda with the Patriarchate. Also, plans need to be implemented for large orphanages; we all think it is important to move children from small orphanages to their own families. All parties should be involved”, - added Ekaterine Tikaradze.
