The British Embassy has issued a statement regarding the current events in Tbilisi:

“Watching events across Tbilisi. Violence, threats towards the LGBTI+ and attacks on journalists damage of Georgia’s reputation as tolerant, hospitable country.

We call on authorities to prevent further violence and protect individual rights and liberties of all Georgia citizens as per Georgia’s constitution”, - twitted the Embassy.
