European parliamentarians are responding to the events that took place in Tbilisi yesterday.

“When Georgian leaders (Georgian Dream), instead of acting in their mandate as guarantors of Constitution, speculate with this topic & fail to properly condemn the perpetrators, they only encourage the violence. No wonder that police was unable or unwilling to protect the victims”, - twitted MEP Viola Von Cramon.

“The ruling party in Georgia must understand, that possible European Perspective - is about dignity, respect LGBTI and change. Let’s keep the European Dream alive for all Georgians”, - writes Petras Austrevicius, Member of European Parliament.
