Pre-trial detention has been ordered for 3 people, who stand accused of physical violence and illegal interference in their professional activities of representatives of Rustavi 2 TV, Tabula and Newpost.

According to the investigation, Zaza Chaava, Zaza Mchedlidze and Murad Devlaripishvili abused media representatives during the rally against Tbilisi Pride.

The prosecution demanded the use of the most severe measure of restraint against the detainees, focusing on the dangers that the detainees might hide, commit new crimes or influence witnesses. The prosecution indicated that due to the nature of the crime, complete isolation of the accused was necessary.
